Phlix Hub
Your media server, reachable from anywhere. No port forwarding, no complex VPN setup.
One login. Any server. Everywhere.
Phlix Hub creates a secure reverse tunnel from your server to the outside world.
Secure Tunneling
Encrypted connections between your server and Hub. Your data never goes through third-party servers unencrypted.
Universal Access
Connect to any of your servers from any Hub-enabled client. Perfect for multi-location setups or traveling.
No Open Ports
Traditional port forwarding exposes your network. Hub works entirely through outbound connections.
Server Directory
Hub maintains a directory of your servers. Sign in once, pick a server, and start streaming.
Two Ways to Hub
Use the public Hub infrastructure or run your own.
Public Hub
Zero configuration. Connect your server to our hosted Hub and access it immediately. No account required for basic use.

Full control. Run the Hub on your own infrastructure. Perfect for power users, privacy-focused setups, or managing multiple households.
Self-Host GuideHow It Works
Hub uses reverse tunnel technology to bridge the gap between your server and the outside world.
Server connects out
Your Phlix server establishes an outbound WebSocket connection to the Hub. This connection stays alive and handles all incoming requests.
Hub assigns endpoint
The Hub gives your server a unique endpoint address. Clients use this address to connect, no matter where they are.
Client connects via Hub
Your phone or app connects to the Hub, which relays traffic through the server's outbound tunnel. No NAT punch-through needed.
Secure, encrypted stream
All traffic is encrypted in transit. The Hub only sees encrypted data — it can't inspect or modify your media streams.
Hub-Enabled Clients
Most Phlix clients support Hub mode for remote access.
