What is Phlix Hub?
Phlix Hub is a reverse-tunnel relay service that lets you access your Phlix server from anywhere in the world — no complex router configuration required.
How it works
- Your Phlix server establishes an outbound connection to the Hub
- The Hub assigns a unique identifier to your server
- When you want to connect, you authenticate with the Hub
- The Hub routes traffic through the established tunnel
Two options
Self-hosted Hub
Run your own Hub instance for full control. The Hub is open source and easy to deploy.
Security
All tunnel traffic is encrypted. The Hub cannot see your media library or authenticate requests — it simply relays encrypted data between you and your server.
