Philosophy

Your Media, Your Server, Your Rules

Phlix exists because you shouldn't have to trade your privacy for convenience. We've built a media server that runs on your hardware, stores your data on your drives, and doesn't require an internet connection to work.

The Hub exists for the times you do want remote access — but it's a relay, not a requirement. Your server stays on your network unless you explicitly connect it to the Hub.

We believe in open standards, open source, and letting users own their infrastructure. BSD-3 licensing means you can use Phlix commercially, fork it, or build on it without asking permission.
