What is Phlix Hub?

Phlix Hub is a cloud directory service with a reverse-tunnel relay built in. It solves the NAT traversal problem so you can access your home server from anywhere — without opening ports on your router.

Sign in once to the Hub, and your devices find and connect to your server through the relay. It's like having a VPN to your home network, without the VPN configuration.

Key Features

Single Sign-On

Sign in once to the Hub, and all your Phlix clients authenticate automatically. No separate accounts per device.

Reverse Tunnel Relay

Your server initiates an outbound connection to the Hub. NAT doesn't matter. No router configuration needed.

Self-Hostable

Run your own Hub instance if you prefer not to use the public one. Full control, no dependency on external services.

Multi-Server Support

Manage multiple Phlix servers from one Hub account. Perfect for home and vacation home, or home and office.

How It Works

1

Server connects outbound

Your Phlix server establishes an outbound WebSocket connection to the Hub. This bypasses NAT because the server is the one initiating the connection.

2

Client authenticates

Your Phlix client signs in to the Hub with your account credentials. The Hub verifies the session and knows which server you own.

3

Hub relays traffic

The Hub relays requests from your client to your server through the established tunnel. Neither end needs to be publicly accessible.

Public Hub

Use the hosted Hub at hub.phlix.io. Zero configuration — just add your server URL and go. No account required to start.
